Amid a COVID lockdown, generous grazier, Denis Banks from Mt Mercer sold ten lambs at the Ballarat yards to benefit cancer research.
With support from his Stock Agent, HF Richardson Livestock Bernie Nevins, the pen of lambs sold for just over $8,000. An incredible result!
Mr Banks said “We have all been touched by cancer-I wouldnt say there are many people who didnt know some one that has had cancer.”
Buyers were mostly from family run abattoirs and butchers in Westrern Victoria. We are grateful to the below purchasers for their valuable support:
