Set yourself a goal and take on a challenge for cancer research Sunday 20 March
Distances include a Half Marathon (21.1km), 16km, 6km lap of Lake Wendouree.
Participants will enjoy the picturesque streets of central Ballarat, Arch of Victory and Ballarat Botanical Gardens and feel part of this special fun run raise much needed funds for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.

The Ballarat Begonia Classic long-distance running event, has a history of over 40 years and was last held 20 years ago.
The Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute in collaboration with Ballarat Regional Athletics Assocation and Athletics Victoria, are thrilled to bring this much-loved event back to the community.
This is a participation fun run and is not timed. All participants will receive a certificate at the completion of the event.

This will be an COVID safe event. Participants are required to be double-vaccinated or have a lawful exemption from COVID-19 vaccination. This is in accordance with Victorian State Government’s rules which require individuals to be double-vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend events (which includes this Event) and will to show vaccination status or if applicable, an exemption from such vaccination in a form prescribed by the State and/or Federal Governments.
