The annual Ballarat Cycle Classic will take place on Sunday 17th February 2019, on the banks of Lake Wendouree, raising much needed funds for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.
The Ballarat Cycle Classic prides itself on being a family event and this year will be no different. The start and finish line carnival will come to life with live music, kid’s entertainment, activities and food.
To support cancer research you can join the fun in a variety of events on and off the bike. The riding course includes; Protect 100km, 50km, 60km & 85km Cycle Classic road ride taking riders through the famous Mount Buninyong Climb from the Australian National Road Cycling Championships. In addition, there will be the BJT Legal Fat Tyre Mountain Bike Challenge, 30km & 50km. There are also the Eclipse Ford Family Rides- either a 6km loop around beautiful Lake Wendouree or the 28km family adventure ride.
For the non-cyclist, there is no shortage of ways in which people can participate and support cancer research. Bring your pooch along and take part in the PETstock Family Lake Walk and Run.
100% of all registrations and donations from the event go to cancer research
